Mrs. Jones is the mother of Casey Jones and the mother-in-law of April O'Neil.
History
Mrs. Jones was in possession of an apartment complex in New York City. One day, her son Casey moved back in with her after his wife Gabrielle had died giving birth to her daughter Shadow. He stayed with her and helped her in the household, as well as he could. The complex was later randomly bought by Casey's former flame April O'Neil after she had come into a large inheritance. Mrs. Jones wanted to take off anyway and sit down to rest in Florida, so she asked April if she'll keep the handyman on—which meant that Casey and April immediately fell into each other's arms and their relationship renewed (TMNT Vol.1 # 60 - City at War, Part 12 of 13).
