In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mrs. Cuddles is a popular children’s TV show character.
Physical appearance[]
Mrs. Cuddles is a rabbit Yōkai with a red nose, long, hanging rainbow striped ears, large black eyes, a white tail, and short blue fur. She also has prominent eyelashes, a light blue muzzle and belly, and dark blue seam-like markings. She wears a yellow bow on the top of her head.
Personality[]
Cuddles is, despite her cute appearance, sadistic and brutal, delighting in scaring others and will go to great lengths to provoke a scream. She is childish, typically speaking in baby talk, and somewhat polite as she gives thanks when receiving screams from others.
History[]
Cuddles debuted in "Mrs. Cuddles" when she was brought to the lair by April O'Neil, who had recently been cast in her show, to prank Raphael, who was very afraid of Cuddles. Because of his fear of her, Raph was a prime target for Cuddles to gather enough strength to frighten the rest of the family. She successfully captured April, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo and bound them in Splinter's bedroom. In her final confrontation with Raph and Splinter, Splinter was unable to feel threatened by Cuddles and laughed at her instead, which drained her power. Reduced to her natural size again, she was locked back in her storage trunk by Raph.
Cuddles was depicted in "Nothing But Truffle" as Mind Raph advised Mikey on how to address having a puppet assailant.
Cuddles appeared in the background of "Cloak and Swaggart" as April and Sunita snuck onto the set of Kondescending Kitchen.
Cuddles was an audience member during Mikey's Hug It Out seminar for Donnie in "Breaking Purple".
Cuddles appeared in the lair behind a counter in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie during Raph and Leo's dispute.
Abilities[]
- Emotional vampirism: Cuddles' strength is amplified by the fearful screams of others. However, laughter has the opposite effect of sapping her strength. She requires screams to move and falls into a silent, stationary state when deprived of them after a period of time, making her appear much like a puppet.
- Self-enlargement: Cuddles' body increases in size as she absorbs screams.

- The Mad Dogs: Cuddles terrorized the Mad Dogs after being used to prank Raph in an effort to magnify her strength and size to a colossal degree.
- April O'Neil: April was Cuddles colleague on her TV show and abducted her after scaring her in the kitchen of the lair.
- Raphael: Cuddles enjoyed tormenting Raph and attacked him in after capturing Leo and Mikey.
- Leonardo: Cuddles abducted and restrained Leo after scaring him while he was in the midst of skateboarding.
- Donatello: Cuddles decapitated Donnie's statue with his Tech-Bō to frighten him after he remained unafraid of her, kidnapping him in his laboratory and restraining him once he screamed.
- Michelangelo: Cuddles abducted and restrained Mikey after scaring him while he was in the midst of skateboarding. Mikey's skittish nature was beneficial to Cuddles, allowing her to grow significantly.
- Hamato Yoshi / Lou Jitsu / Splinter: Despite her best efforts, Cuddles was unable to make Splinter scream, as he didn't fear her, and was thus found herself bested by him.

- When asked about Cuddles' species in August 2020, Rise of the TMNT staff writer Ian Busch answered in a Tweet, "She was a Yokai. Who was immobilized until she was awakened by screams, which was her life force."[2]
