Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids. |
The Mothman or Mothmen (as there are multiple), are cryptids that were captured by Jack Marlin and were brought to his private island in the Mirage comics. This creature is based on a being that has been described as haunting the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia.
History[]
Raphael is briefly seen fighting a Mothman in mid-air during their assault on Marlin's Hobb's Gate compound. Later, while looking through Marlin's computers, Don points out that there were two of them. World's Deadliest
After a recovered Marlin shoots down the helicopter that the Turtles and Leatherhead were escaping in, they, along with Emil Tendaji and his men, trudge through the swamps looking for a way out. The Mothmen both appear and attack, with one biting one of the men on the shoulder and the other carrying one off. Emil protests hurting them, as they are "precious". Mikey smacks the one that was biting the S.P.A.R.E. agent with his nunchaku and points out that they have Marlin's inhibitor chips installed in them. Don uses a laptop to shut down the inhibitors, and Leatherhead catches the agent that was being flown off, as the Mothmen take their leave. Monster Island
