In the 2003 TV series episode The People's Choice, Moriah was the ruler of Jhanna's planet, and also her rival since Jhanna had been elected to be a new ruler. The two were to have the election settled in hand-to-hand combat, through which Moriah showed no hesitation to cheat her way through the battle. She also attempted to have Jhanna killed before the battle was scheduled. Eventually, she loses her position as ruler to Jhanna.
