Monza Ram was the leader of the Triceraton All-Star Team and the champion of the Tri-Sports Arena. He was brought out to kill the Turtles in the Arena at the behest of Prime Leader Zanramon. He was pitted against Leonardo in combat, and suffered a humiliating defeat.

As a result of their defeat, Monza Ram and his three comrades fell out of favor with Zanramon and were imprisoned in the dungeon for their failure to kill the Turtles. They were freed by Traximus, himself a former gladiator and resistance fighter, and they subsequently swore their allegiance to him and joined his rebellion against Zanramon.

He met Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael once again during the Triceraton invasion of Earth, during which he set out to help them rescue their brother Donatello who was being held captive on the Homeworld. He, Ia and the Turtles set out through the ship's sewer systems and broke into a computer control room, where the former gladiator defeated the guards along with them. They found out he's in Zanramon's Throne Room. He then impersonated a guard in order to rescue Donatello, pretending that he had captured the other three Turtles, and assisted them in stealing Zanramon's space cruiser once again directly under Zanramon's nose and flee the base ship.
