Plot[]
Various monsters are attacking an Electrical Plant as the workers flee for their lives. The Turtles arrive in their New Battle Shell, each of them equipped with monster trapping gear. Raphael narrates, speaking about how they’ve battled ninja, Triceratons and all sorts of psychopaths, but the genetic freaks they run into these days are a whole new ball game. Fortunately, he says, Donatello’s monster trapper gear is keeping them batting one thousand.
Don designed the gear to handle even the toughest freakazoids. As Raph narrates, scenes of each of the Turtles using the gear to capture or neutralize a mutant are shown. Michelangelo deploys a bola type weapon that wraps around a target and delivers an electric shock. Raphael throws a pair of electrified cuffs at two mutants. The cuffs clamp onto their bodies and deliver an electric shock that puts them down. Leonardo’s snare shooter uses weighted snares fired from a blaster-type device to trap mutants. The capture snare, used by Donatello, lets the user operate an electrified snare at the end of a pole to incapacitate a mutant, pick it up, and toss it into a container which then deep freezes the creature.
Raphael then says that the best use for the gear isn’t for trapping monsters. He holds up a clamp attached to a long pole and demonstrates how the pincers work. Mikey is bragging to a downed mutant about how he’s the Battle Nexus champion, when Raph uses the pincers to clamp Mikey’s mouth shut. Raph says the best use is in shutting Mikey up when he starts bragging for the hundred millionth time.
