The Mona Lisa is an artwork painting by Leonardo da Vinci, depicting a smiling woman. It currently is located in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. In the 1987 TMNT cartoon episode "Tower of Power", the Turtles view the artwork when visiting the Louvre in Paris.
In the episode "Rust Never Sleeps" of the same show, the Turtles stop a vandal from defaceing the artwork by throwing a bottle with paint on it.
The Mona Lisa also papers within the comic book cover for TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything! issue 1 and as a parody in the cover for TMNT #57 both from the IDW continuity.
In the episode "Mystic Library" of Rise of the TMNT, the Mona Lisa had a cameo among other famous artworks.
