Moja is one of the second generation of Ninja Turtles, raised and trained by Casey Marie Jones after the death of all of the originals.

At some point after Michelangelo died, Casey Marie acquired four baby turtles and implored them to grow up quickly so she could train them. The Last Ronin She mutated them so that she could accomplish this.
Years later, while training, Odyn complained that he had a stomachache and also was hungry. Something Moja remarked as being reoccurring. When Uno taunts Odyn, Moja comes to his defense and nearly gets into a fight with Uno before Casey interferes. Moja and her siblings are then instructed to practice tai chi forms. When Uno brags about tai chi being easy for him, Moja begins fighting with him.
When April arrives, she and Casey break up the fight and April tells Moja that fighting is never the answer when dealing with sibling rivalry even if it means defending Odyn. After April takes Casey away to chat, Moja puts on her headphones and begins listening to some music. Lost Years #1
