Mini Metalhead is a robotic character that is created by Donatello and appears in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Amazing Adventures comics.
This version of Metalhead is branched off from his original version in the 2012 TV series. His history before the events of the Amazing Adventures comics is the same as that of his animated version.

Mini Metalhead[]
While Leonardo and April O'Neil are sparring in the dojo, she loses her hold on her tessen when Leo knocks it out of her hand. The tessen falls into a nearby fissure and is out of reach. April then asks Donatello if he had any inventions that could retrieve her tessen for her. Delighted to be of service, Donnie zips away and returns to present one of his inventions, Mini Metalhead- a minuscule version of Metalhead but without the Kraang tech and long battery life (it's battery life only consists of only a few minutes).
Mini Metalhead successfully completes its mission before falling over, drained of power. When Donnie returns the miniaturized version to his lab, he sets it down next to the full-sized version's head. He thanks Mini Metalhead and states that the next time he calls on it, Metalhead will have the full-sized system it deserves.
Epilogue: The Terror of the Kraang[]
A version of Metalhead appears only as a Kraang hallucination after they are affected by Jonathan Crane’s Fear Gas.
