Michelangelo is the happiest and most open of all the Turtles. His character is based on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics by Mirage Studios. Michelangelo is part of a crossover between the TMNT and the Stranger Things comic series.

The Tourists[]
Michelangelo and his brothers first appear in The Tourists when they come to the aid of the kids from Hawkins. The children are investigating a strange noise inside the subway tunnels and are set upon by giant demodogs. The Turtles arrive before the creatures can attack and destroy them. Afterwards, the two groups retire to the Turtles' lair where introductions and explanations are made.
