In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Panini), Michelangelo is a mutant turtle, and one of the four ninja sons adopted and trained by Hamato Yoshi (a.k.a. Splinter), along with his brothers Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael.
This version of Michelangelo is branched off from his previous version in the 2012 TV series. His history before the events of the Panini comics is the same as that of his animated version.

Takeout[]
In the debut comic Takeout, Michelangelo along with his brothers are racing to get home with a stack of pizza in boxes. Of course, mishaps occur along the way, delaying their return to the lair, and eventually all of the pizza is destroyed. At home, they bemoan their misfortune and then are given sage advice by Splinter - a delivery menu for Mancini's.
Chasing Shadows[]
While scanning for energy spikes needed to run Kraang tech, Donatello believes he's found a Kraang hideout. This is exciting news for April O'Neil, as finding these hideouts might lead to finding her father. At the first warehouse they encounter Kraang, but not Kirby O'Neil. During the fight against the Kraang, Mikey gets backhanded into some crates. He gets a papercut which April bandages, and then when he holds up the paper that cut him, it proves to be a vital clue. That clue takes the Turtles and April to a TCRI facility. There are numerous large containers stored at the facility, some of them with a prison like appearance. They open the first such container, but rather than Mr. O'Neil, they encounter Spider Bytez. He chases Don and Mikey, threatening to give them an acid bath. The Turtles manage to escape the container and slam the door shut before he can reach them.
Uncommon Cold[]
Michelangelo is suffering with a cold, but that doesn't stop his brothers from taking him out on a search for mutagen canisters. Donatello's tracker zeros in on an alley and Mikey locates the canister, but it is broken. As he's holding it, he sneezes, and that sneeze turns into a mutated cold virus. The Turtles chase it through the city, determined to stop the thing before it infects the populace.
Coney Island Chaos![]
Mikey and Casey Jones climb the fence into the Coney Island Amusement Park the first night after its closing for the season. They want to ride the Flying Dutchman without anyone noticing a mutant Turtle on a rollercoaster. Their plans are delayed when a new mutant decides to punish them for trespassing.
