Michelangelo has a recurring ability in 1987 games called the "Kangaroo Kick", where he performs a handspring kick toward the foe. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue also saw the debut of his "'Chuck Copter" maneuver, which would go on to be used frequently in games made in 2003 and later.
The cabinet art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (arcade game) showed his headband and pad color as yellow.
