Synopsis[]
The four Turtles are vacationing in South Beach, Miami, Florida. As they lie out in the sun on the beach, Donatello tells his brothers about a local delicacy called “chicharrón”. He describes it as a fried, crunchy morsel full of flavor that rivals the taste of any food. Michelangelo asks if that includes pizza, and Don says it does. Raphael, a hat pulled over his face, tells them to shut up because he’s trying to sleep. To himself, Mikey decides that he must find the “chicharrón”.
Mikey sets out on his search, humming to himself and spinning one of his nunchucks. He finally notices people running from him and thinks it’s because of his singing. Then he spots a store called “La Casa del Chicharron” and quickly enters. Mikey starts to ask for chicharrón when he sees a large mutant crocodile with a sword for a hand holding up the store, demanding money from the elderly grandmother standing behind the cash register. The abuela calls for help and Mikey addresses the ‘walking leather bag’, telling him to come outside and mess with someone with more muscle.
Senor Croc accepts the challenge, saying that he’ll be having turtle soup for dinner. Mikey fusses at him for scaring the old lady, but the croc doesn’t care because she is human. Senor Croc says that humans have always treated him like trash and that they are small and mean. Mikey tells him that some of his best friends are human and that they can be really nice. Senor Croc attacks, but Mikey smacks him with a nunchuck. Senor Croc slashes at Mikey with his sword, but Mikey ducks and then kicks him. Flying backwards, Senor Croc lands against a parked motorcycle.
Furious, Senor Croc lifts the motorcycle overhead and throws it at Michelangelo. However, he throws it too hard and it goes over Mikey’s head. The motorcycle is now coming down towards a mother and her small child. Mikey is determined to stop it and does a backflip, soaring towards the endangered pair. He gets there in time to kick the motorcycle apart so that it lands without injuring anyone.
The grateful mother shakes Mikey’s hand and thanks him, while Senor Croc looks on, deep in thought. As the humans walk away, Senor Croc comments on how they were nice to Mikey but are always mean to him. Mikey explains that they are really green, so it takes humans a little extra effort. Sometimes, though, they can help the humans along. Senor Croc asks if there are others like them. Mikey says none as cool as them, but that he does have brothers. He asks if Senor Croc wants to get some chicharrón and meet them. Senor Croc agrees and goes to the beach with Mikey, who has pizza and chicharrón. Senor Croc has traded in his sword hand for a pizza cutter hand.
