The Metropolitan Museum is a location in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Rizzoli) comic series. It appears in Tartarughe in bella mostra.

History[]

The Turtles and Splinter are enjoying a peaceful day in the lair. Leonardo reads aloud from the newspaper that the Metropolitan Museum has opened the exhibition of the year. Then Leonardo adds that it’s not just any exhibition, art by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raffaello will be on display. Donatello says that the artists’ creations will all be together, just like they are. Leonardo suggests they go take a look. Just then, April O'Neil arrives and says she was just coming to tell them about the exhibit. She bets she can give them good advice to avoid the ticket office. Tomorrow there will be a pre-show reserved for the press and… smart Turtles.

The next day, the Turtles, wearing disguises of trench coats and fedoras, use press passes to gain entry to the museum. However, just as they start their tour, Shredder reveals himself, along with Bebop and Rocksteady. The exhibition was actually a trap, and all of the "masterpieces" are fake.
