Not killed off for effect, then brought back, then killed off for effect again less than a season later. It seemed like a cynical writing move the first time, but the second time it had become a tired meme.
Better to die as an elderly retired grandfather meeting old age after a long, accomplished and eventful life. By this time, his sons were already in their 30s, and his 17-year-old granddaughter was living with him. His passing in the story happened abruptly with little warning, just as it often happens in real life.
From Mirage TMNT volume 4 issue 10. Six pages in one image. Best viewed at full size. And yes, that's the spirit of the Rat King greeting him just before his death.
Just interjecting a bit: A) If anybody edits a Wiki (or uses any website for that matter), they are agreeing to the regulations set forth by the administration. If somebody doesn't read them first, that's their own fault.
B) It's not just a "rule". It's international copyright law. Nickelodeon/Viacom can take legal action against not only Wikia but us for hosting links to that content (although a DMCA or content removal request would logically come first, companies don't always play that way).
GDG did good work and it's sad to see them go. Trigger, was that ban for a specific time period or forever?
Infinite, yea that's on me no excuse. The links to the episode just kinda scared me, i didn't want this place shut down or anything. I'll change the block and give a warning, sorry about this i went overboard.
I still have no idea XD. It doesn't seem like an explanation was given for it in this episode either, but then again, my Korean is a little fuzzy so I could be wrong. There's a possibility we'll hear an explanation in the english dub.
The only plausible explanation I can think of is Alopex was hired by someone to kill him. Because last Tiger Claw mentioned the event that he lost his tail, he said it was a rival bounty hunter and Tiger Claw and Alopex were friends and working together until Alopex suddenly turned on him. So maybe the actual rival bounty hunter enlisted her help. But that would kind of make her look like the bad guy in that situation, and the turtles helping the bad guy is quite odd. That's just my hunch but it seems unlikely.
hay UltimateTitan6 do you like this idea(mine idea)? Activision to make new tmnt 2012 game similar to tmnt 2: Battle Nexus video game where levels is based on the following episodes: anihallation: Earth parts 1 and 2, episodes where they are in space(and episode where they met their 1987 counterparts) and episode Earth,s last stand and the newest episodes and the upcoming episodes where they will met Miyamoto Usagi and probably episode when they are on battle nexus?
Im curious to know if you have any idea's or characters you may have thought up of. Here's an idea of mine.
Mutant Wolf named wolfsbane, former heavy metal rockstar, had a wolf claw necklace which is where the wolf dna came from, uses a guitar as his weapon which he calls his "axe", has his own tour bus as a vehicle.
How about Heatcrash, a hiker who primarily explored cold climates. One day, he gets lost is stuck up there for days, nearly runs out of flame to keep him warm and them BOOM, a canister of mutagen falls from the sky (possibly the Technodrome), the flame submerges him and his whole body literally becomes pure fire that cannot be put out, only contained.
Whoa, that's awesome, super intense explosive powers. Plus you can totally work out the tragedy angle seeing as how it sounds like this guy won't be able to even go near his loved ones all normal like/the possibility of his powers being accidentally released.
Hmm how about we go with mantis, but it's like Man-tis like the we make the Man part stick out more. As for abilities hmm maybe something with it's arms like blade arms. Also backstory, how about he's one of them scientist who works specifically with bugs, then a collegue finds a canister of mutagen then your typical accidental splash happens and then you got your mutant mantis character
We actually were doing that for some time (and most of the 87 show's images, when we have them, are the title). Only 2003 had like some random shot for every one, but whatever. But one day someone went and just uploaded the last shot of the episode to every 2012 episode and... I guess I just never thought twice about it. But not only does showing the title card make the most logical sense for the top image, but it prevents people who might just be on the page for some general info from being spoiled. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to cover up spoilers... this is a site for information, is all. It's just that people shouldn't get them from the first pic on the page, which also is usually the thumbnail for the page as well on the "other articles" parts.
Sooooo I decided not only that we'd go back to it but it'd be enforced and it'd be for all shows. Only times we do anything different is if the title shot's not available.
