In the Mirage's TMNT story Halls of Lost Legends, the magician Merlin is one of the residents of the Halls of Lost Legends, which together with all the other gods and mythical creatures was petrified by a curse of the Norse deity Loki. After the turtles manage to put Loki in his place, Merlin transferred them with his magic back to Northampton.
