Synopsis[]
Sprawled in an awkward looking position on the couch in the lair’s living room, Michelangelo is sound asleep. Open on his shoulder is an issue of “The Joust” comic book. Leonardo stands looking at him and wonders how he can sleep in such a physically impossible position, but Raphael doesn’t care, saying that pizza is on the way and if the younger Turtle is sleeping, they might get some. Donatello adds that if they woke him, they’d have to listen to another of his crazy dreams.
Cut to Mikey’s dream. A colorful castle sits atop a mountain. Inside, King Mikey is seated on his throne, with Ye Olde Raph and Ye Olde Leo on either side of him. They are dressed as guards. Suddenly Ye Olde Donnie, wearing an apprentice wizards costume, runs towards him. He brings dire news: the evil Black Knight has stolen the Golden Pizza of Ultimate Power.
King Mikey immediately decrees that they must rally their forces and siege the tower of the Black Knight. Master Wizard Splinter approaches and warns that by now the Black Knight has further empowered his sinister super-powered henchmen with extra power of pizza power. His point is that to defeat the enemy, King Mikey must be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice. He tells King Mikey he will know what that is when the time comes – or just make it up.
Shortly, at the Black Knight’s tower. On the door is a sign reading “No Turtles Allowed” which Don calls the seal of the powerful word of Not Entering. King Mikey announces that he goes where he wants and promptly kicks open the door. They are set upon by a glowing Fishface and King Mikey orders Raph to joust him. Raph states that he is too weak and feeble, not strong like him, but Mikey says he’s got this and they leave to climb a curving staircase.
Their way is blocked by Warlock Stockman. Donnie remains behind to fight magic with magic as King Mikey and Leo continue upwards. The stairs go on and one and King Mikey laments the fact that there’s no elevator. They are suddenly attacked by Lord Tiger Claw and Leo remains behind to duel with him.
Many flights of stairs later and King Mikey finally reaches a door with sharps spikes sticking out of it. He slams open the door and confronts the Black Knight, who eerily resembles the Shredder. King Mikey announces that his reign of greedy pizza stealing ends now, but having tasted the power of the Golden Pizza, the Black Knight easily kicks him down. King Mikey realizes the pizza is making the Black Knight stronger and that no matter how much it pains him, he must make the ultimate sacrifice.
Using his bejeweled nunchaku, King Mikey smashes the Golden Pizza of Ultimate Power. There follows a powerful explosion, which destroys the Black Knight and his tower. King Mikey is rejoined by Leo, Don and Raph and together they sing a ballad in honor of the Golden Pizza.
The smell of actual pizza awakens Mikey as his brothers try to sneak it past him. Don says they should have eaten it in the dojo. Mikey suddenly leaps from the couch, calling Raph a peasant and telling him to yield the pizza to his king. He tackles Raph and practically inhales the entire pizza.
Frustrated, the other Turtles head back out of the lair again, with Don saying they need to cut him off of comic books because they’re rotting Mikey’s brain. Leo suggest they go to Murakami’s instead. Mikey calls them Sir Knights and bids them farewell. He also tells them not to forget to bringeth him back some pizza gyoza.
