The Masters of the Universe is a franchise created by Mattel, following the success of Star Wars in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Through toys, comics, cartoons and a 1987 live-action movie, it reached international success in the mid 1980's.
Plot[]
Most of the action takes place on planet Eternia, where He-Man and his allies fight to save Castle Grayskull from Skeletor and his henchmen. He-Man is actually Adam, using his Power Sword to transform.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appearances[]

A crossover comic between Masters of the Universe and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was planned twice, and intended to be published by DC Comics and IDW Publishing before production was cancelled.
Early 2024 saw the introduction of the Turtles of Grayskull action figure series. The figures was accompanied by minicomics.[1]
