After a superpowered Casey Jones takes down a group of thugs, an electrician with the city discovers them and calls the police. Sergeant Malloy and his partner respond and Malloy asks if the city worker saw anything useful. Before the electrician can respond, April O'Neil arrives on a fact finding mission. She calls out to Malloy, having met him before. He is not pleased to see her and reminds her no cameras, but she is there on her own. April asks about the blackouts occurring in the city and says that she's heard evidence of vigilante activity found after each one. She asks if Malloy cares to comment. He replies that his power cut out right in the middle of a game and he missed seeing Boston implode. He's going to be complaining to the electric company. Malloy then asks if April wants him to let her know how that goes. Later, at the Turtle Lair, April complains about Malloy's condescending tone.
