The Lofty Tower is a skyscraper in New York City owned by Donald J. Lofty. It appears in the 1987 TV series, debuting in the episode "The Big Zipp Attack".[1]
The Tower had a shaft of pure rigidium running through it, without which the building would collapse. Shredder cut off the top spire which destabilized the tower, but the Turtles and a giant Zipp arrived in time to temporary stabilize it once again. It is not known what happened to the building after this.
