Loch Ness is a lake in Scotland, United Kingdom. Its best known feature outside of Scotland is the legends of a "Loch Ness Monster" living in it. The monster makes brief appearances in different continuities of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but never in conjunction with the lake itself.
Loch Ness makes a significant appearance in the Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Special story, Doomsday Hassle in Banshee Castle. Castle MacNeil, the setting for most of the story, is settled on the shore of Loch Ness. Near the story's climax, April throws the Sword of Destiny into the lake and Splinter knocks Krang and Shredder into it.
