Plot Synopsis

File:Tribunal armor.jpg

The Tribunal received their armor in 300 A.D.

The Turtles train with the Ninja Tribunal to prevent the resurrection of the Shredder. But when Splinter and the Ancient One express serious doubts about trusting the Tribunal, it leaves the Turtles confused. If they all agree on the goal, why the doubts? To explain the danger to the Turtles, Splinter and the Ancient One reveal the secret history of the Tribunal… including the true origin of the Shredder!

The true origin of the Shredder is explained. Shredder was actually a Tengu who wanted to control Earth in 300 AD. The Emperor of Japan summoned five great warriors (in what appears to be a homage to Power Rangers or Super Sentai or Kamen Rider), to destroy the Tengu. One of the warriors was Oroku Saki, who became the Shredder the Turtles knew back in New York. It was Saki who destroyed the Tengu's body, but not the soul. Before the Tengu died, he mentally made contact with Saki, and offered to live in Saki's body.
