Technician Leeshawn is one of the many Utroms who was held in suspended animation on Burnow Island. Along with Ma'riell, Kleve and Montuoro, Leeshawn was present when the murder of Councilor Lorqa was discovered.
His technical skills were put to the test when he and Ma'riell attempted to repair Professor Honeycutt, who had been torn apart after the murder of Lorqa. Afterwards, he was sent along with Michelangelo to fetch the other newly-awakened Utroms from their quarters, and had to intervene when Churk mistook Michelangelo for an enemy.
He was one of the Utroms menaced by Leatherhead, but the intervention of the Turtles allowed him to escape.

- Leeshawn is presumably named for Shawn Lee, the letterer for many issues of the IDW series.
