- Early releases of Leatherhead in the United States featured the tagline "Ragin' Cajun Gator". This was changed in assortments shipping in July 2023, presumably because the character has an Australian accent and not a Cajun one in the film.
- Leatherhead is referred to with gender-neutral pronouns on the back of the package, whereas the character in the film is only referred to with feminine pronouns.
