The Lair Games is an annual sporting event held in the lair in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Description[]

The Lair Olympics, or the Lair Games, are an annual one day sixteen-event competition that pits the four Turtles against one another to see who is the best. The Lair Games are announced and refereed by Splinter and the sixth annual Lair Games (2019 Lair Games) was filmed by April O'Neil and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.

Known events[]

  • Event 1: Handstand Hill-Bomb: The Turtles race down a sewer ramp on skateboards while doing handstands. The first Turtle to cross the finish line wins.
  • Event 2: Pipe Goop Chicken: The Turtles lie under a sewage pipe, which is opened by Splinter and threatens to dump goop on the Turtles. The last Turtle to not bail out wins.
  • Event 3: Pizza Darts: Each Turtle throws a slice of pizza at a target. The closest to their own bullseye wins.
  • Event 5: Dizzy Race: The Turtles spin around rapidly, then run down a straight course. The first Turtle to reach the end of the track and hit their buzzer wins.
  • Event 9: 'Mallow Mouth: The Turtles compete to see who can fit the most marshmallows into their mouth.
  • Event 15: Fridge Balance: The Turtles must balance the contents of a refrigerator on their chins without falling over. The last Turtle to hit the floor wins.
  • Final Event: Shell Bowling: Each Turtle jumps down the skateboard ramp, tucking into their shell, and tries to knock over a set of mannequins set up as bowling pins.
  • Tiebreaker: Splinter's Choice
    • Sixth Games Tiebreaker: Slippery Whippery Woo: The tied Turtles complete to be the first to catch a shaved, greased-up Splinter. The first to successfully catch Splinter wins the Lair Games.

Rules[]

  • All four Turtles participate in each event.
  • Points are scored depending on how well they perform in each event.
  • The Turtle with the most points after the final event is the winner.
  • In the event of a tie after the final event, a bonus event, chosen by Splinter, is played as a sudden death tiebreaker between the tied Turtles.
