Synopsis[]

The Tortugas attend a funfair, and Miguel Ángel, Donatelo, and Rafael spot a fortuneteller's booth, wanting to go see her. Leonardo advises against it, assuming her to be a phony. The three convince him to come with them, and inside, she rightfully pegs the lads as "Tortugas" and tells them that grave misfortune is coming. Leo is still unconvinced of the veracity of her skills.

Meanwhile, Krang locates the "Convertigema" at this same amusement park, realizing it is the crystal ball that the fortuneteller has been using. He calls up the Shredder and instructs him to retrieve it, as apparently it has the power to turn him human. Saki instead outsources the labor to Bebop and Rocksteady, who are idly sitting by and playing tiddlywinks.

Just as the Tortugas are leaving, Bebop and Rocksteady rush in and club the fortuneteller on the head, knocking her out. They then abscond with the crystal.

At the sewer lair, the Tortugas return and Splinter asks if they brought back groceries. The brothers had forgotten to swing by on the way back from the fair to grab some and hurriedly head out to correct their error. Splinter begrudgingly begins to collect the garbage in their pig-sty home and heads topside to take out the trash. Bebop and Rocksteady just happen to come across Splinter as he surfaces, and after a confrontation, they zap him with the gem. The Tortugas witness this on their return, but then Rafa and Leo are also blasted with it.

Miguel and Don plan on recovering the gem and attempting to restoring their family, attacking the goons to do so. After a bit of keepaway, Miguel ends up with it and realizes that his Leo, Rafa, and Splinter have been turned into a hamburger, soda, and order of fries, respectively. He points the Convertigema at them again and turns them back to normal, but Bebop and Rocksteady rush them again and this time, Don, Miguel, and the two villains are transported elsewhere.

Arriving in a cavernous terrain, they begin fighting for the Convertigema again. After finally beating Bebop and Rocksteady into making a retreat, they are suddenly faced with a massive puma monster. The Tortugas are menaced by this beast briefly, but he is called off by an elderly human-looking man. Introducing himself as Aprax, he tells them that the gem is his property. He explains that they are in Dimension Zo, and he was once a military general, whose people utilized the Convertigema as a weapon against their enemies. However, it eventually became lost or was stolen, and his people were crushed by their adversaries, leaving him the last known member of them.

Aprax uses the Convertigema to send them back to New York City, but Bebop and Rocksteady are now on the run from the giant puma, Morris. The two Tortugas reunite with their family and tell them of their escapades.
