Synopsis[]

Miguel Ángel has started pulling pranks on this friends and family. He borrows a magazine from Donatelo, and when Don comes to reclaim it, Miguel puts a bucket full of water above the door, causing it to fall on him. He later bakes a pizza for his brothers, who start getting sick, and he reveals that he had used thirty heads of garlic, castor oil, mustard, and habanero peppers.

Afterward, Miguel brings a wrapped gift to Splinter, saying it was from Abril. Splinter is confused, but appreciative. When he opens it, it turns out to be a jack-in-the-box and an effigy of Destructor pops out and startles him. The next day, Miguel goes to find Termidator, who is working on his motorcycle. He asks Miguel to hand him a pair of tweezers, but he gives him an exploding candle, which blows up in his face.

The Turtles and Termidator go to Splinter and insist something be done about Miguel's behavior. When they go to confront him, they find him already fast asleep. Meanwhile, a being called La Cosquilla arrives and chooses to subject Miguel to pranks, just as he has been perpetrating. He takes Miguel's astral form and sends him to a lake full of pink water, then materializes a ball and chain on his ankle that drags him down. Miguel encounters a giant angler fish and tries to swim away, and suddenly the ball and chain are light as a balloon full of helium and sends him high into the air. Cosqualla pops the ball with a needle, and Miguel crashes into the ground, bouncing and skidding a bit.

When he comes to, he starts wandering, and comes across a trio of mutant turtles that look like super-deformed versions of the Mirage Turtles. They brand Miguel an impostor and start attacking him.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Splinter and the other Turtles observe Miguel developing a high fever as well as laughing fits.

Back in Cosquilla's domain, he conjures up a boom box (and for the reader's benefit, the lyrics and sheet music) to Queen's We Will Rock You ("Te Meceremos"), while Miguel continues to be assaulted by the off-brand Tortugas. Miguel finally knocks away the trio's Donatelo equivalent as he tries to drop-kick him, and runs away, finding a tiny cottage. Hoping to find help, Miguel instead is greeted by a witch who addresses him as "Hanzel".
