Krang zombie is the name given by Leonardo to the Krang's brainwashed (and eventually transformed) slaves in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie.
The Krang zombies are developed by Krang Three, who uses his "vines" to produce a parasitic mold-like bio-growth. This bio-growth takes control of anything it infects and allows Krang Three to manipulate them, even allowing him to speak through them. The Krang zombies are then transformed into amalgamations of their previous forms and grotesque parasitic lesions. This process may be instant or can happen at a later time, and it is not divulged what determines this.
The first Krang zombies are created when Krang Three attacks the Foot Clan with his vines, enslaving Foot Brute, Foot Lieutenant, and all present Foot Ninja. Later, the Krang take their captive, Raphael, and hole him up in a pod, and when he is cut loose by Leonardo, he attacks his brother, growing the parasite components from within himself seconds later.
Krang Three uses the substance to envelop the Metro Tower, enslave and transform many citizens of New York City, and also possess several vehicles, including a subway car and a helicopter.
Krang One may have been able to subjugate the other Turtles to the transformation, using the Technodrome, but he was unsuccessful. Raphael is able to fight off the infection himself after Leo apologizes for not listening to him, and the rest of New York seems to have beaten theirs when the Technodrome is destroyed.
