Kitsune is the consort of Oroku Saki and the chief mystic operative of the Foot Clan in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Deviations. Her actions are the primary catalyst for the differences between this story and the mainstream IDW continuity.
Unlike the original IDW universe, where Kitsune had only bewitched Leonardo into joining the Foot Clan, here, she additionally corrupted Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. This lead to Splinter and Old Hob working together in an effort to bring down the Foot, as well as independently, Arnold Jones attacking the Clan as revenge for Casey's death.
During Hob and Slash's siege on Foot HQ, Splinter and Kitsune battled on the Astral Plane. Kitsune had the upper hand, transforming into a giant fox and capturing Splinter in her jaws. However, Tang Shen intervened and the two of them overpowered Kitsune, killing her.
