Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids. |
Kirby King was an artist who lived in a basement apartment in April O'Neil's building. He met Donatello, who had gone to check on the building's hot water, and showed him pencil with a magic crystal attached, which allowed his drawings to come alive, although they fade afterward. The only difference was a doorway to another world populated with characters and creatures he created himself, which has not disappeared. Don and Kirby go through the door and after helping the denizens battle the creatures, they notice the door is about to fade. Kirby pushes Don through the door just before it disappears and is thus trapped in his own creation.
In the intervening years, Kirby is taught martial arts by the population of Kirby World.
