The Killer 'roos are savage giant kangaroos that were reported on the news as having been attacking Australians, and as being led by a "cobber in a metal mask" and a "talkin' brain with no body". The Hero Turtles high-tail it to Australia to investigate.
The Turtles happen upon Pete's Gas Stop, a petrol station in the middle of nowhere. Pete directs them to go west to their destination. However, Michaelangelo had found the Technodrome's tracks behind the gas station, and so the Turtles decide to head east instead, having already become suspicious of Pete.
Upon arriving to a small town, they are ambushed by the Killer 'roos, and Pete pulls up in a pickup, admonishing them for not following his directions; it turns out he's actually a robot planted by The Shredder. The Turtles attempt minimal force against the 'roos, but Leonardo accidentally stabs one, which reveals that they too, are robots, allowing the Turtles to make short work of them.
