Khiyarra was a young lady who was formerly a test subject at D.A.R.P.A.. She led an assault on Louis Braunze under the assumption that he killed her other mentor, Alexia.
History[]
Khiyarra, Louis, and Alexia were all test subjects at D.A.R.P.A. Being younger than the others, she was mentored by the older subjects, specifically Alexia and Braunze. The specific focus on these subjects were to equip them with psychic abilities and test their efficacy. At one point, however, Alexia's powers began to go out of control, and Braunze used his mind to wipe the entire base, making them think Alexia and himself were dead. In reality, she was being kept in suspended animation by a team that Braunze had come in contact with at some point.
As Braunze did not have time to be precise and he hit the entire facility at once, there ended up being a few that were not completely affected, including Khiyarra, who did get the suggestion of Alexia's death, but remembered Braunze was still alive and thought he was the one responsible for her death. Khiyarra trained her abilities until she was able to track down Braunze for revenge.
Khiyarra whammied a couple of D.A.R.P.A. agents and equipped them with Psi-Block Helmets to prevent them from affected by Braunze's power. They eventually cornered him and he took them out and removed their helmets, but before he could probe them for answers, Khiyarra appeared and confronted him with what she thought was the truth. While she went through her monologue, Braunze pushed a button on his back that sent out an S.O.S. to the Turtles.
Khiyarra attacked Braunze with telekinesis, which she had developed since he had seen her last. He tried reasoning with her, telling her that he can help her with her powers and that he had to stop Alexia to keep her from destroying everyone with her powers, but Khiyarra laughed it off and assumed he was lying. Suddenly, more of her backup appeared - two Triceratons and Braunze's old alien friend Tiabak. The Triceratons attacked Braunze and prepared to finish him off, when the Turtles intervened. Leo hit Tiabak before he could fire his weapon, which brought him to his senses.
Braunze's comrades Bacon and Joni finally arrive and they take Khiyarra back with them, hooking her up in suspended animation with Alexia so they can reconnect and work through their emotional trauma. Mined Games
