Kerma's robots
In the 1987 TV series episode Escape from the Planet of the Turtleoids, the Ninja Turtles find that their friend Kerma has developed a quartet of giant golden robots with a distinctive appearance, in order to defend the Turtleoids against threats without having to rely on the Ninja Turtles. However, because of the Turtleoids' innate pacifism, Kerma was unable to program the robots to be aggressive enough to do their job.
Donatello attempted to reprogram the robots, but accidentally made them turn against the Turtles instead. He reprogrammed them again in time to battle against Captain Dredd, Groundchuck, Dirtbag, and the Brute Force, but just as Donatello feared, the robots' gold composition made them incredibly fragile, and thus, they were easily destroyed.
