Kento is one of the four kappa and a character in the book titled “The Legend of the Four Kappa”. He appears in the story Legends in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White & Green anthology series.

When the Kamaitachi wind visited the forest that was home to the four kappa, they hunkered down in their protective shells to ride out the malevolent force of the storm. However, the wind contained fearsome beasts called Wind Weasels, who had terrible fangs and claws like blades. Hearing the terrified cries of their forest animal friends, the kappa knew they had to save them.
Kento, though he was a turtle, was known for his speed and agility. He moved swiftly through the underbrush, leading a group of hedgehogs to safety. With each flash of the Kamaitachi’s claws, Kento was there, his shell absorbing the impact and keeping the hedgehogs unharmed. Kento then positioned himself with the rest of the turtles to channel the maelstrom through a path that led out of harm’s way.
