Kashima-no-Okami is a Japanese thunder god. He fought the massive earthquake-causing catfish Namazu and trapped it under a giant rock. Kashima also broke said rock with a stray lightning bolt during a feud with other gods, leaving Kakera, the Ninja Turtles, and Usagi on a quest to mend it.

- Kashima-no-Kami or Takemikazuchi was a thunder god in Japanese mythology. One of his best known feats was trapping Namazu under a rock, just as in Namazu or the Big Fish Story.
