The Justice Force is a group of superheroes that fight for justice. They appeared in the 2003 TV series.

History[]

The First Justice Force[]

The original Justice Force was made up of Stainless Steel Steve, Zippy Lad, Joey Lastic, Metal Head, Battling Bernice, and Doctor Dome. The group was active during the Golden Age. Battling Bernice loved both Dr. Dome and Stainless Steel Steve. When she became pregnant, she left the group for a year to have her daughter Ananda. Shortly after rejoining the group, Battling Bernice died in battle and the team was disbanded. Their adventures soon became comics books, with Steve and Metal Head owning their own comic store in Northampton.

Many years later as seen in "Return of the Justice Force," Domeoids started attacking members of the former Justice Force. Steve assumed that Dr. Dome was behind it. With the help of the Ninja Turtles and Casey Jones, he was able to track them to discover that Ananda was behind it, as she blamed the Justice Force for the death of her mother. They were able to stop her by confusing Ananda's mental capabilities and and winning her over, with the help of her father Dr. Dome, with whom she reconciled. Except for Metal Head, the old members returned to retirement.

The Michelangelo/Turtle Titan became an honorary member of the team, making Issue 137.

The Second Justice Force[]

JusticeForce(S5Ep12)

The second incarnation of the Justice Force (with April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Splinter, and the Ancient One).

The second incarnation Justice Force began with Ananda and Metal Head. They soon added newer heroes to their ranks including Silver Sentry, Chrysalis, and Tsunami. Together, they defended Earth against the Triceraton invasion, but were repelled due to the aliens' superior technology.

Later in The Lost Episodes season, they opened up their ranks to more heroes as seen in "Membership Drive." Among their new recruits were Nanotech, Raptarr, and Nobody. Zippy Lad was shown as a drill instructor training the applicants Bowmaster, Moleculo, and Gauntlet. In addition, the Turtle Titan was promoted to a full member. While New York City was transformed into a nightmare world by the Tengu Shredder, the Justice Force saved the citizens from the demons and helped in the final battle to defeat the Tengu Shredder.

In a falsified Journal as seen in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward episode "The Journal," it said that Michelangelo helped the Justice Force against a giant alien baby named Big Bad Binky Boy. But when he deflected his beam, it froze the Justice Force and slowly de-aged them into babies. The infant Justice Force was then said to have been adopted by April O'Neil. It turns out that the Journal they read was a fake as it was created by Cody Jones and Splinter to throw off the Turtles' curiosity and to keep them from finding the real journal.

Upon the discovery of the Green Mantle's cape in the TMNT: Back to the Sewer episode "Super Power Struggle," Raphael joined the Justice Force as the new Green Mantle. When the original Green Mantle resurfaced upon reuniting with Stainless Steve Steel following Dr. Malignus' defeat, he took on the role once again and joined up with the Justice Force. The Justice Force would later show up to battle Cyber Shredder and the Foot Clan at April's and Casey's wedding.
