Julie Ann Strain (February 18, 1962 – January 10, 2021; died 58 years old) was an American actress and supermodel, best known as the "Queen of the B-Movies" after her frequent appearances in low-budget "schlocky" films.
Involvement with TMNT[]
Strain was married to Kevin Eastman from 1995 to 2006 and was a frequent muse for his characters and an actress in productions based on his work. She was planned to portray Stilzar, a Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation antagonist, but the character never made it to an episode. Concept art of Evil April from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: The Foot Walks Again also has a heavy resemblance to Strain, but no casting for that film was ever announced.
Death[]
Julie died January 10, 2021 from dementia complications, which likely arose from a long-standing health issue following a fall from a horse in her young adulthood, which also left her with retrograde amnesia.
