Joroguma is a character and antagonist in the 2012 TV series.
History[]
The Ninja Turtles, Miyamoto Usagi, and Kintaro encounter what appears to be Usagi's friend Akemi caught in a giant spider web. After Leonardo attempted to rescue her, she reveals herself to be half spider and attacks the heroes. After a vigorous battle, Usagi, Kintaro and the Turtles were captured in the Joroguma's web. They are rescued by the Tanuki they had encountered earlier.
Trivia[]
- Joroguma is based on Jorōgumo, a creature from Japanese myth. Like in "Osoroshi no Tabi", it appears to be half spider, and disguises its top half as an attractive woman. Along with her deceit and general spider abilities, she can also control fire-breathing spiders.
