In the Mirage's continuity, the Brooklyn-based apartment of the Jones family is where April O'Neil lives with her future husband Casey Jones and their adopted daughter Shadow. It actually refers to more than one location, the first being the top apartment of the building Mrs. Jones sells to April during the "City at War" story arc at the end of Volume 1. The apartment is freely visited by April's surrogate father Hamato Splinter along with his four turtle sons who are like brothers to her and Casey and uncles to young Shadow.
