Jerusalem is a city, which Israel has possessed all of since the 6 Days War in June 1967. It is considered holy ground for Christians, Jews and Muslims, often leading to trouble throughout history.

The Ninja Turtles go to Jerusalem when visiting Israel in the TMNT Adventures Comics arc The Animus War, when April O'Neil is about to report from a peace conference, but everything has escalted into fighting.[1]
