Appearance[]
Jail Bird is, like his buddy, decked out in an old-school striped prison uniform and pillbox hat. He holds a coin in his left wing. The original Playmates figure was cast in all yellow, but the 2022 remake makes his feathers dark blue and gives color (black-and-white) to his uniform and coin, as well as his eyes, beak, and feet.

- Jail Bird may be based on Hallocat's companion, Nevermore the crow from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, given Scratch is directly based on Hallocat.
