[Episode starts with Donnie frantically running away from someone that's chasing him around...the New York City?!]

Donnie: Wait, how did I get here? Something's out there. But what?

[Donnie sees a monstrous red mutant. It's Dark Beaver! Donnie tries to escape, but the beaver starts chasing Donnie around the city. Every step on his move, the beaver finds him...no matter where the turtle hides. He caught his breath and heard something growling. He took out his T phone for light up the darkness as the beaver monster roared.]

[Theme song.]

[It started with the turtle's training.]

Raph: So is Donnie coming down or what?

Mikey: I couldn't wake him up, so I put some dirty underwear on his face.

[Raph tries to attack while he trains with Leo.]

Raph: Nice. Looking good, Leo. You're really coming along.

April: Hey, guys? We're heading down to the store.

Casey: Any requests?

Mikey: Ooh, ooh, ooh! I need some spicy gummy worms. Need!

Casey: Yeah, he's not going to have that.

April: That store is tiny, Mikey. It's the kind of place that has peanut butter or jelly.

Casey: Be back in a few.

[They get into the van and leave]

Leo: Okay, let's do this.

[They continue training until Leo's right knee breaks. He cries out in pain.]

Mikey: Leo, you were hurt bad, bro. You gotta give yourself time to heal.

Leo: [in pain] Yeah, but how long? This is taking forever. I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm just… Just gonna take a minute.

[He limped his way to the house.]

Raph: Good. Some rest should help.

[In the living room, Leo is having a hard time falling asleep, unaware that he is dreaming.]

Leo: Aah! Sleeping isn't gonna help. Guys? I'm going for a walk.

Mikey: Rock on, bro!

[He limped outside the house but strangely, the sky seemed dark all of a sudden.]

Leo: Ah, taking forever. I'm never gonna get better.

[A meteor crashed and Leo dodged. The turtle begins to approach it, amazed. He reached it and a blue aura covered him. It sparked him and was blown back.]

Leo: Weird. That didn't hurt. And my leg.. my leg doesn't hurt either. I feel fine! In fact I feel great!

[He starts to leap through the trees.]

[Meanwhile in the real world, April and Casey enter the store. As they looked around, they were greeted by a creepy, but kind man.]

Bernie: Hey, there! Name's Bernie. I just bought this place.

Casey: On purpose?

[The man is putting some new items on the shelves.]

Bernie: Finding everything you need?

April: You got any spicy gummy worms?

Bernie: Is that bait? You mean bait?

April: It's candy.

Bernie: Ho-ho! I got candy!

[He takes a jar of brown seeds.]

April: What kind?

Bernie: Brown. But it used to be yellow.

[Casey goes to the cash register, when he sees a book, he investigates it, he notices its name. Strange name. Casey reads it and it says: Obturaculum Somniorum.]

Casey: Ob- obturaculum som- Somniorum?

[Casey reaches the book with his hand slowly until Bernie furiously stops him.]

Bernie: [sternly] Nobody touches that book. Understand?

[Casey Jones nods and puts his hands in his pocket. April had some stuff ready and took out her cash.]

April: Hey, I got what we need. Should last a few days.

Bernie: So, I thought nobody lived around here.

April: Why would you buy a store where you thought nobody lives?

Bernie: Eh.. I like my alone time. The amount of stuff you're buying must be for five or six people.

Casey: Uh, just two. Us two. The two of us.

Bernie: Uh-huh. Tell me. You been tired lately? Real tired?

April: Nope. We're fine.

Bernie: Maybe it won't happen this time.

[Meanwhile, in the dream world, Leo is still having fun thanks to his newly healed body.]

Leo: Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Check me out! I am a superhero!

[Suddenly, the voice appears from a distance.]

Dire Beaver: What does every superhero need?

Leo: Who's there?

[A purple beaver is behind him.]

Dire Beaver: Dire Beaver! I'm everything you've ever feared in one convenient, horrifying package. And I'm gonna teach you something about pain!

[He looks around until something knocks him. Dire pinned him down laughing. Meanwhile in the real world, Mikey is drawing on Leo's face.]

Raph: Man, he must've been tired.

Mikey: He looks good, though. Handsome.

Raph: Nice work. You know I'm pretty tired myself. A little shut-eye wouldn't hurt anything, right?

Mikey: Me too.

[Mikey was about to draw Raph’s face.]

Raph: Don't even think about it.

Mikey: Naps are nature's hugs.

[The turtles begin to sleep. A few minutes later, Casey and April arrive at the house and find the turtles sleeping.]

Casey: We're out taking care of business and what are they doing? Squat.

April: [turning to Casey] Donnie must be on lookout.

[April and Casey check on Donnie. It is revealed that the whole scenario with Donnie being a victim of frantic chasing out by beaver was his nightmare. Donnie sleeps, on his head is underwear, he whistles, due to his gap tooth.]

April: [annoyed] Or not.

Casey: [laughs] Those weird teeth of his make him whistle!

[April walks up and removed the underwear off of Donnie's head.]

April: [realizes something wrong] Wait, something's not right. Donnie? Donnie! Donnie!

[In Donnie’s nightmare]

Dark Beaver: Peekaboo! I see you!

Donnie: Aah!

[Donnie runs away, but then he bumps into beaver. Terrified, Donnie slowly backs away.]

Dark Beaver: I am Dark Beaver. May I eat you? You look salty.

Donnie: Aah!

[Donnie dodged Dark's bite and somehow entered the school. Claws began to emerge from the rooms as multiple Darks appeared.]

Donnie: This can't be real. I must be dreaming. I just have to wake up. That's it. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! No!

[He snaps out of his bedroom and somehow he is still in the dark world. Dark is behind him,]

Dark Beaver: Still here! Still going to eat you, my salty, salty friend.

[Casey dragged Donnie into the living room and tried to kick him to wake up.]

Casey: Come on, dude, wake up already!

April: That's not gonna work!

Casey: It was worth a try. Plus, I've always kind of wanted to do that.

April: I don't understand it. They won't wake up. It's like they're trapped. Trapped in their dreams.

[Raph's dream about watching awkwardly at his brothers (with white eyes). He sits along with them at the table with a pizza box on the table. The turtles creepily stare at him, until the nightmare begins... The turtle's heads turned into a creepy clown, rock monster and slug thing. Then the claw comes out of the pizza and reveals himself to be an orange beaver.]

Dread Beaver: I am Dread Beaver! And your soul is mine!

[Rock music played as snakes wrapped around Raph while the nightmare turtles play heavy metal. A massive white snake emerged in front of Raph. Mikey is in the sweet candy realm, not so scary, where he was greeted by yet another beaver, sweet, blue and kind.]

Dave Beaver: I'm Dave Beaver. I'ma 'sposed ta scare you.

Mikey: Really? Then I guess you should've left your adorable buck teeth at home, Dave.

Dave Beaver: They are adorable, aren't they?

Mikey: And check out your widdle paddle tail! You wanna play ping-pong?

Dave Beaver: I kinda do, yeah!

Mikey: Sweet!

[The talking ball hits him. Mikey and Dave having fun playing. Cut to Mikey's sleeping, he has a good dream, except his brothers.]

Casey: [not worried about Mikey sleeping peacefully] Mikey actually kinda looks okay.

April: [worried] Yeah, but his pulse is getting weaker. They all are.

Casey: So, they're sick?

April: None of them has a fever, but I feel something strange. Like, something is draining the life out of them.

Casey: Can you get through to them somehow?

April: I can try.

Casey: Wait! That Bernie guy asked if we'd been feeling tired.

April: And that book he had. Somniorum. It's Latin for "dreams," or "of the dreams," I think.

[Realizing that it's the serious situation about the turtle's dreams, determined, Casey takes the bat and goes back to the store to investigate the book.]

Casey: I'll go see what's in that book. You do what you can here.

[Casey leaves. April makes contact with Donatello. In the dream world, Don appears in the lair and pants very fastly until he sees a can and there's...]

Donnie: Wait. Is that April?

April: Wake up!

[Dark beavers roar at Donnie.]

Donnie: Aah!

[Cut to Leo's dream, where Leo is beaten up as Dire Beaver punches him to the sky. He was about to give him a finishing blow, but to the turtle and beaver's shock and surprise, his T phone rings.]

Dire Beaver: Well, aren't you going to answer?

Leo: [picks up T phone and answers it, annoyed] Okay.

April: Leo! You have to wake up. Wake up!

Leo: I am awake. I got super powers from a meteor, and now I'm fighting a giant beaver. And... Hey, am I dreaming you?

Dire Beaver: Not a chance!

[ He punches him right into the sun, Raph screams as the snake launches, swallowing the nightmare turtles before coming to Raph.]

April: Raph! You have to wake up! Now!

Raph: Huh?

[The snake clears throat.]

Snake: Pardon me.

[Mikey is getting tired after playing ping pong for hours.]

Mikey: Man, this ping-pong is really wearing me out.

Dave Beaver: That's because I'm draining your life force! Hee hee hah hah hah!

Mikey: Oh, right.

[A talking lolipop moves beside him]

Lollipop: Psst, hey, Mikey! April says you should wake up

Mikey: [frowning] Please. I know better than to listen to a giant talking lollipop. Ha! I learned that one the hard way.

[The ball knocked him on the face again.]

[Casey arrives at the store and takes the book. He starts to unlock the book with the key he stole until he was conforted by Bernie, holding a chainsaw.]

Bernie: They sent you, didn't they?

Casey: Who?

Bernie: Them! The Dream Beavers!

Casey: Nobody sent- Did you just say Dream Beavers?

Bernie: Didn't I tell you nobody touches the book?

[Bernie has gone mad, the man activates his chainsaw and attacks Casey.]

Casey: Whoa! Dude, are you insane?

Bernie: That book is the only thing standing between this world and total destruction.

[Casey dodges.]

Bernie: You dirty beatnik!

[Donnie is looking for Dark until he gets knocked down on the wall.]

Donnie: April.. She's trying to tell me something..

[A newspaper landed on his face]

April: You have to wake up! Wake up!

Donnie: This is a..... dream!

[Dark Beaver tries to attack the turtle, but Donatello swags the beaver's jaw with his bo staff.]

Dark Beaver: So, you figured it out, eh? Very clever. Clever, salty boy!

[Donnie screams as Dark sliced him until Leo, Mikey and Donnie appear along with him.]

Leo: Whoa. What's going on?

Donnie: I'm having the weirdest dream.

Leo: You can't be dreaming. I'm here.

Donnie: Cause I'm dreaming you!

Leo: Maybe I'm dreaming you. But you're not dreaming me.

Mikey: Aw, man. Where'd all the candy go?

Raph: Hang on. Guys, I think we're all in the same dream.

Leo: That's impossible.

Dark Beaver: Nothing's impossible for the Dream Beavers!

Donnie: [Laughs amusingly.] I'm sorry, did you just say Dream Beavers?

Dark Beaver: Olly-Olly-oxen-free!

[Evil laughter echoed as the nightmare world started to shake and melt. Dire, Dread and Dave arrive laughing at them. The world began to turn into a galaxy void.]

Dire Beaver: You think you are alone in your dreams. But no! For years, we have lurked in this dream dimension, stealing the life force of humans. Draining them dry and-

Mikey: But dudes! We're not human!

[Dread Beaver appears from behind them, Mikey and Raph jump away in surprise and horror.]

Dread Beaver: That is precisely what makes your life force so delicious.

Dark Beaver: Seriously. Human life force, every meal, for thousands of years. Then one day, Turtles!

Dave Beaver: I like chocolate chip cookies.

Beavers: [annoyed] SHUT UP DAVE!

Dire Beaver: We're gonna drain you dry and spit out the shells!

[The turtles scream as they get thrown in the air.]

[Casey struggles to dodge Bernie's chainsaw and fights him off.]

Casey: Would you- Knock it off? I'm just trying to help my- Aah! Friends!

Bernie: What? I can't hear you over the chainsaw. [his chainsaw stops working] Give me a minute, here.

[Bernie tries to reactivate the chainsaw. Finally having enough, Casey smacks the chainsaw out of Bernie's hand.]

Bernie: Ow!

Casey: [angered] What is wrong with you?!

Bernie: Ah, I'm sorry. I'm a little high-strung. I haven't slept in forty years. Because of the Dream Beavers.

Casey: What are Dream Beavers?

Bernie: They're beings of pure evil from another dimension. You see, it all began forty years ago.

Casey: Nobody asked, dude.

[Bernie's flashback shows the young Bernie back in fortyyears ago. He used to be a physicist.]

Bernie: I was a physicist trying to prove my theory that our dreams take place in a dimension of their own. When a defective portal projector short circuited and I lost consciousness.

[As his words heard literally, the young scientist falls unconscious, until he in his dream realizes Dream Beavers could enter their reality.]

Bernie: The Dream Beavers had been about to break through into our reality, but instead, they materialized in the dream dimension In my dream. When I awoke, they remained trapped in the world of dreams, unable to return as long as this device remains operating.

Casey: Device? It's a book, Bernie!

Bernie: Obturaculum somniorum means "dream plug." [opens the book to reveal the device] For forty years, I have protected the plug to ensure that the Dream Beavers remain trapped. For forty years, I have remained awake so that they cannot drain my life force. But they are always near. They attack anyone close to me and drain the life from them when they sleep. That's why I came out here, far away from everyone.

Casey: Not far enough. They're draining my friends right now. And you're gonna do something about it!

[Casey walks toward Bernie and takes him away from the shop off-screen. Then as Casey leaves, the screen fades to white. Then we cut to the meanwhile in the dream, where turtles have a white eyes in the comic book dream. When they speak, giant text clouds appear.]

Raph: What? Where are we?

Mikey: Whew. Back in the real world at last.

Donnie: This looks real to you?

Mikey: More or less. Except for these guys.

[The dream beavers laugh on the building.]

Dave Beaver: I spy with my little eye something green.

Beavers: SHUT UP DAVE! [that was the second time they said.]

Dire Beaver: Destroy them!

[They charge and the turtles fall and end up in the sewer. They prepare for battle as they take down their own, Leo leaps otno the pipe and battled Dire ]

Dire Beaver: Now you see me. Now you don't!

[He disappears and punches Leo.]

Leo: This isn't working.

[Donnie crashed onto Leo. Raph is battling Dread and gets swatted by Dark.]

Mikey: Hold still, Dave. I gotta chuck ya!

[Dave started to multiply and turn the vault. Water gushed them right into different realms, Their fight against the Dream Beavers is going very, very badly. They end up on a conveyor belt headed for a pizza oven and look like they’re going to be beaver food. They screamed in total fear.]

[April is trying to slap Donnie awake. Casey arrives with Bernie.]

Casey: You said that wouldn't work.

April: [desperate] I don't know what else to do! I can barely find their pulses anymore. If we can't wake them up, they won't make it!

Bernie: [arrives] Oh, my gosh! Is that TV set an Astroview?

April: Really? Not, "oh my gosh, giant Turtles?"

Bernie: You see them too?

Casey: [to Bernie] Bernie! The Dream Beavers are sucking out their life force! How can we wake them up?

Bernie: You can't. The Obturaculum keeps the beavers trapped in the dream realm, and as long as they're there their dream powers are unbeatable. That's why I don't sleep! Got any coffee, by the way?

April: He's not breathing. Donnie's not breathing!

[Casey holds up the book.]

Casey: So this is what keeps them in the dream realm?

Bernie: Yeah! Wait, what are you... No!

[Casey breaks the device with his bat.]

Dire Beaver: What's this?

Dark Beaver: The barrier is broken!

Dread Beaver: We are free! Free!

[The turtles slowly wake up alive and well.]

April: You're okay!

Bernie: [horrified] The Obturaculum is broken! The beavers are free! Free to destroy our world! All is lost! All is- Aah!

[The device bursts open and the beavers come out.]

Dire Beaver: Wait a second [it turns out the beavers are small] Aw, dang.

Mikey: Hi, Dave.

Dave Beaver: Hi, Mikey!

Beavers: SHUT UP, DAVE! [that was the third time]

Bernie: This is it? This is what I've been protecting the Earth from for forty years? Plush toys?!

Casey: If I were you guys, I'd be-

Dire Beaver: Leaving. My thoughts exactly. Come, beavers! Let us leave this world for one that is.. All right, we're going. Big bully.

[They disappear into blue mist.]

Bernie: April, Casey, giant talking Turtles, I've been awake for 40 years for no good reason. So If you'll excuse me...

[Bernie yawns, falls to the ground and, finally, for the first time in 40 years, he falls asleep as the others watch him sleeping.]

Casey: Well, who wants to help me carry him back home?

[Donnie helps and he and Casey remove Bernie from the house. Leo watches at his leg and Raph sits beside him.]

Leo: I know that was terrifying and we nearly bought it and everything, but my leg really feels a lot better.

Raph: See! I told you some rest would help.

Donnie: Wait a second. Did April kiss me a while back?

Casey: Dream on, Donnie. Dream on.

[Casey smiles at the camera, Donnie watches Casey, amazed as an episode ends.]
