Ia (as known Fay Tian Chi) is a warrioress from the dimension/world of Glibliax and an ally of the Ninja Turtles during the Triceraton invasion of Earth. This character was specially created for the 2003 animated series.
History
2003 series
Ia originates from an unknown world named Glibliax. While nothing is known about this world, it appears to be highly advanced, since Ia is seen operating advanced technology (including Triceraton technology) with practiced ease.
Ia was one of the many hopeful warriors invited to enter the Battle Nexus Tournament and fight for the title of Battle Nexus Champion, the greatest warrior in the multiverse, at the same time that the Turtles first competed in the games as well. Though unseen during the preliminaries, she was witnessed defeating Krall in the first round and Dieskrad in the second. Ultimately, however, she lost to Michelangelo in the third round and was eliminated.
After participating she later together with her competitor Kluh joined Traximus' rebellion during the Triceraton's invasion and occupation of Earth to overthrow the tyranny of Zanramon. When the Triceraton fleet attacked the Earth in search of Professor Honeycutt, the Turtles were eventually compelled, to infiltrate the Triceraton homeworld themselves, to retrieve their trapped brother Donatello, La and Monza Ram supported the Turtles during their rescue operation and the subsequent escape from the homeworld.
Ia was last seen sparring against Dieskrad and Zat during a pre-fight exhibition at Michelangelo's grudge match with Kluh.

Trivia and Notes
Although in the series called "Ia", on the 4Kids production blog, it is shown that she was originally given the name Fay Tian-Chi. However, the reason for this name change remains unknown.
