The Hypno Stone is a weapon used by Shinigami in the 2012 TV series, it's a pendulum with a gem on it's extremity which is represented by a cat eye, which can hypnotize any person who stares at it's swinging for too long. It has been passed down in Shinigami's family, by swinging it back and forth Shinigami can mesmerize her opponents as well as terrify them with powerful illusions, when combined with a kusarigama the stone can also function as a weight. Shinigami has two of these. She uses one of them as a grip when swinging the weight (the other stone) of her kusarigama.
