Hirobyl is a planet orbiting an aging and dying red giant star deep within in Dimension X. Appearing in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics, Cherubae states that Krang ruinned all life on the planet in his search for the Turnstone, leaving only uninhabited ruins left.[1] The decisive battle between the Turtles and Krang for the Turnstone takes place here.[2]
Etymology[]
- The name "Hirobyl" is a word blend of Hiroshima and Chernobyl, alluding to two real-life locations associated with nuclear destruction events.
