Hero Wars is a free-to-play online role-playing game (RPG) released in 2016. The game was developed by Nexters Global Ltd. and combines strategy, action, and fantasy elements. In July 2023, Nexters underwent a rebranding which made the game available in two different versions; the Facebook and browser version became Hero Wars: Dominion Era and the mobile version became Hero Wars: Alliance. The two versions are similar, but not identical.
The gameplay in Hero Wars involves various modes such as campaign battles, PvP (player versus player) arenas, guild wars, and special events. Players take on the role of a hero and must assemble a team of warriors to fight against evil forces threatening their world. Hero Wars features a strategy aspect, where players can level up their hero and use different abilities to defeat the enemy team.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were introduced with the Guardians in a Half Shell, part 1 special event on December 2, 2024. They were on available until the end of Guardians in a Half Shell, part 4, respectively, which ended on December 21, 2024.
