History[]
Splinter tells Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki's story to Team 7 in TMNT x Naruto issue 2. Oroku Saki was a troubled boy reared in Big Apple Village's criminal underworld. He came to the dojo of Splinter's master, Hamato Yoshi, claiming to seek a new path. Yoshi had known hardship. He tried to help the promising young martial artist, but Saki's cruelty was clear. He sought only the power he might obtain through Yoshi's technique. Power Yoshi had kept concealed in a family scroll, which Saki handily stole before leaving the dojo and Yoshi to suffer destruction.
