Hachiko is the Shredder's pet Akita Inu in the 2012 TV series. After Hachiko bites Chris Bradford, the latter is doused with mutagen, turning him into Dogpound.
Hachiko is named after an Akita Inu known for his loyalty.
Trivia
- Hachiko first appeared in The Gauntlet, and has not been seen since.
- A dog that looks similar to him was seen barking and snarling at Michelangelo, Casey Jones and Jason on the streets of NYC where they were skateboarding and causing mischief in Meet Mondo Gecko.
