The Guerrieri Di Pietra, (Stone Warriors), are an army of sentient humanoids from Dimensione X, whose bodies, as their name implies, are composed of stone. They are under the command of Krang and therefore enemies of the Ninja Turtles.
History[]
In yet another attempt to conquer the world, Krang uses a Portale dimensionale on the Tecnodromo to bring Guerrieri Di Pietra from Dimensione X. The warriors arrive in Flying Guerrieri Di Pietra Jeep's. As they are entering, alarms begin to sound and Shredder shouts that the portal is overloading. He is unable to reduce the input wave before the controls explode. Although not every warrior he hoped to bring to Earth managed to make it through, Krang feels that he has more than enough.
The Guerrieri Di Pietra invade New York City and specifically hunt down the Turtles, who they find in a pizzeria eating out with a group of friends. As they attempt to subdue the Turtles, one of the young men in the pizzeria steps into the room with his boom box. A warrior demands to know what the device is and accidently touches the volume control, turning it up to full blast. What happens to the Guerrieri Di Pietra next delights the Turtles and humans alike. They take to the streets with the boombox and confront the warriors gathered there. Leonardo turns up the volume on the boombox he's holding and the stone warriors begin crumbling. A man indicates a large stereo setup and says he brought his super high-fidelity quadrophonic stereo on purpose. He turns up the volume, which destroys the Guerrieri Di Pietra still in the street. April O'Neil arrives and says she reported this news on Canale 6, telling the citizenry how the stone warriors can be destroyed. She says that the radio station will be playing loud rock music. Underground, in the Tecnodromo, Shredder shouts at Krang that his invincible soldiers were defeated by just a few notes. A crestfallen Krang asks how he was supposed to know, there is no music in Dimensione X.
