The Grybyx is an affectionate, cuddly little creature from Dimension X with the ability to move objects by mental power.[1] Food like pizza has the power to turn this creature into a gigantic monster.
History[]
The Grybyx is seen in episode #59 of the 1987 cartoon series in which Kala's pet Grybyx escapes through a dimensional portal to Earth, eats a slice of pizza, and proceeds to terrorize New York City. Shredder and Krang try to harness the creatures power but are unable to and The Grybyx goes back home, safely, to Dimension X along with Kala and the other Neutrinos (Zak and Dask).
Trivia[]
- This character is a reference to the 1984 comedy-horror movie Gremlins, where the titular creatures turn into monsters when fed after midnight. Water also causes the creatures to multiply in the movie, while water causes the Grybyx to turn back into small and harmless after it turned huge and monstrous after eating.
